At VNDentalTravel, published porcelain veneer promotional prices start at A$1,000. Standard prices range from A$1,300 to A$2,000, depending on the selected system. Veneer quantity, tooth condition, design and fabrication requirements, and preliminary care all contribute to the complete smile makeover cost.

For international patients travelling to Vietnam, the budget also includes accommodation, transport and appointment timing. We connect dental treatment with travel arrangements to help you understand the costs from initial assessment to final fitting and how each stage fits into your visit.

You can explore published veneer and other restoration prices in our dental price list.

These prices provide a starting point for selecting a veneer system. During individual treatment planning, we bring together the teeth being treated, veneer quantity and supporting care to connect the restoration cost with your overall budget.

Where the plan involves separately charged smile design, temporary restorations or preliminary dental procedures, these appear separately from the veneer restoration fee.

Cost per Veneer and Total Case

The basic calculation for the veneer restoration subtotal is:

Veneer subtotal = applicable per-veneer fee × planned number of veneers.

For example, a proposal using a fee of A$1,000 per veneer produces the following subtotals:

Veneer quantity

Example per-veneer fee

Restoration subtotal

6 veneers

A$1,000

A$6,000

8 veneers

A$1,000

A$8,000

10 veneers

A$1,000

A$10,000

These calculations cover the veneers themselves. The complete budget also includes separately charged supporting treatment and personal travel expenses.

Number of Visible Teeth

A complete smile makeover does not mean placing veneers on every tooth. The treatment area follows the teeth visible when you smile and speak, their condition and the appearance you would like to improve.

During planning, the dentist considers tooth length and width, the relationship between the upper and lower teeth, and the colour transition between veneers and neighbouring natural teeth. A broader smile may reveal more teeth, but the number visible does not automatically determine how many need restoration.

Six, eight or ten veneers therefore represent different treatment scopes. A plan involving both arches also differs from one treating only part of the upper smile.

If some teeth need crowns rather than veneers, the two restoration types are priced separately. Veneers mainly cover the front surface of a tooth, while crowns provide more extensive coverage. Their preparation requirements and prices differ accordingly.

Material and Laboratory Work

The ceramic system and level of custom fabrication both affect porcelain veneer pricing.

Veneer design involves colour, tooth shape, surface texture, translucency and coordination with neighbouring teeth. The colour of the underlying tooth also influences the final appearance.

During planning, we connect the selected system with the relevant fabrication stages so you can understand the work covered by the fee. This includes shade matching, shape design, laboratory fabrication, and the try-in and adjustments before bonding.

When several veneers are made together, their proportions and colour transitions need to work across the visible smile. Comparing options therefore involves looking at material specifications, veneer quantity and the scope of fabrication together.

Composite veneers use different materials and treatment methods. Their fees are considered separately rather than treated as prices for an equivalent porcelain restoration.

Smile Design and Trial

Smile design helps you understand the planned tooth length, width, shape and colour before the final restorations are completed.

Depending on the treatment needs, planning may involve photographs, digital scans, a digital preview, a diagnostic wax-up or an in-mouth mock-up. Each method serves a different purpose and involves different design or fabrication work.

A digital preview presents the proposed appearance. An in-mouth mock-up can help assess how the planned shape looks in the mouth. The final veneer try-in takes place after fabrication and checks the actual restorations for fit, shape and colour before bonding.

Your treatment arrangements identify the design and trial stages being used and whether their fees are included in the restoration cost. These differences also help explain why two proposals with the same veneer quantity can have different totals.

Preliminary Dental Treatment

Healthy teeth and gums are an important foundation for veneer treatment. During examination, the dentist assesses decay, gum inflammation, problems with existing fillings and other conditions that need attention first.

Preliminary care may include cleaning, gum treatment or replacement of defective fillings. These procedures are listed separately from veneer restorations so their effect on cost and timing is clear.

Root canal treatment is not a routine step in veneer care. It is arranged only for teeth with a clinical need. Some smile makeover plans may also include whitening untreated teeth or orthodontic treatment before veneers.

Conventional porcelain veneers commonly require some enamel preparation, which is generally considered irreversible. The amount depends on tooth position, condition and restoration design, rather than simply the number of veneers requested.

Comparing Veneer Proposals

The most useful comparison is the complete budget for an equivalent treatment scope.

Two eight-veneer proposals may use different ceramic systems or include different levels of smile design, temporary restoration or review care. The unit price explains only part of the difference.
