For Anne, travelling to Vietnam for dental treatment involved much more than the time spent in the dental chair. Her journey began at the airport, where the Vietnam Dental team was there to meet her and assist with her arrival. From there, she was supported with hotel check-in before beginning the clinical stages of her treatment.
At the clinic, Anne first underwent 3D dental scanning so the team could examine her oral condition in greater detail. The scan results were then reviewed with her, giving her an opportunity to understand the findings and the treatment plan before moving forward.
These early steps are an important part of implant treatment. For an international patient, being able to see the scans, discuss the proposed treatment and understand what will happen next can make an unfamiliar process feel much more manageable.
Anne then proceeded with her dental treatment under the care of the clinical team. The video follows her through different parts of the experience, from assessment and consultation to time in the treatment chair.
Her before-treatment images show extensive tooth loss, making the change at the end of the journey particularly noticeable. In the later images, Anne is seen smiling with her restored teeth, looking noticeably different from when the process began.
What stands out in Anne’s story is not only the visible dental result, but the full journey around it. Travelling overseas for implant treatment means managing flights, accommodation, appointments and an unfamiliar environment at the same time. Having practical support along the way helped keep the different stages of Anne’s visit organised, while the clinical team focused on her dental care.
By the end of her treatment journey, Anne was able to leave the clinic smiling alongside the people who had supported her during her stay.
For Australian patients, Vietnam Dental also provides support through its Melbourne office, helping make the journey to Vietnam even more convenient and accessible.
